Pizzaz Pizza
A customizable pizza ordering app.
The Process.
This project was an exploration into user experience and interaction within the mobile application format. The goal of the app was to offer users the ability to custom build their own pizzas. I created Pizzaz Pizza, a brand catering to people ages 18+ with the needs of both individuals and families taken into consideration.
Building it.
I began by creating the structure of the app using a site map. I included a pre-made pizza menu, a meal box section, which cater to families and parties, and a build-your-own customizable pizza section. I also added a cart and the option for users to create an account with Pizzaz Pizza. In theory, the ability to create an account would encourage repeat customers with discount perks and the option to save your favorite pizzas to your account.
Final Designs.
I used a light orange color throughout the app to create the feeling of fresh baked dough with pops of red to be associated with pizza sauce.
